Remote Monitoring

JANiiT architecture allows for one-way communication for remote monitoring over satellite and radio networks. JANiiT Edge can run locally and completely air gapped to meet cybersecurity requirements, while bringing cloud capability to the edge.

Since 2021, Maplewell has been developing the JANiiT platform for the U.S. Navy to operate shipboard and within shipyards. This intelligent, predictive energy management system executes online, real-time optimization to determine optimal usage of energy storage. While energy management at installations is commercial, the JANiiT platform enhances energy storage in other defense use cases such as directed energy, hybrid electric drives, and non-wired upgrades to ship bus capacity.
